India’s Praj collabs to offer technology for high energy renewable product

Praj Industries announced today that it has signed a Construction License Agreement (CLA) with Gevo, Inc, USA to commercialize technology for the production of Isobutanol using sugary-based feedstocks, such as juice, syrup and molasses. Praj will provide EPC services to 3rd parties using a process design package developed by Praj. This package uses Gevo’s proprietary Isobutanol biocatalyst on sugary-based feedstock. Isobutanol derived from said proprietary process is high energy renewable intermediate product that finds application in Aviation and Racing cars.

Isro to launch 5 military satellites this year to boost ‘strategic assets in space’

Isro is scheduled to launch four new series Risat satellites and an advanced Cartosat-3 satellite. Cartosat-3 is the advanced version with the capability to zoom up to a resolution of 0.2 metre (20 cm), Sivan said Risat-2BR1 will be launched in July, Risat-2BR2 in October and Risat-1A in November. Risat-2B series is a lighter version of the spy satellite with an X-band synethic aperture radar that can penetrate clouds and zoom up to a resolution of 1 metre.

The water is an aquaponics system is re-circulated on a continuous basis with zero-discharge. The aquaponics cycle reduces water requirement by over 90% as compared to conventional soil-based agriculture. Established in a controlled environment, it is a completely chemical-free mode of farming.

First lot of Dhanush guns handed over to Indian Army

Alternative data for credit bureaus are data sets acquired from sources outside the core banking systems, such as those from telecom companies, payment firms, and government databases. These could supplement existing core bank data with bureaus in the analysis of transaction behavior patterns of customers.
